Here's a wonderful accent for your home, or a unique gift for a friend!
Fields of lavender, with poplar trees in the foreground, and the Olympic Mountains in the background...what a memorable combination! The artist who created this scene is Marlynn Malo from Saskatchewan, Canada. She is well-known for her realistic landscape watercolors.
This is all captured on a 11" x 14" art tile, hand-painted with brilliant colors, and finished with complex glazes. The procedure is labor intensive, and requires kiln firing in excess of 2000 degrees! Hairlines or crazings under the glaze on the tile is part of the art style, and is normal to the glazing process. The back is finished with black velvet and a hanging hook, allowing you to feature the art in your home decor.
"Lavender Estates" is a brand-new, near-perfect condition tile that was featured in a show-room display, Therefore, the original Banaya packaging has been replaced with my packaging. The result is that you will enjoy a 45% discount from the retail price normally found in stores! Enjoy!
